Ticket Sales Have Begun for the 2026 Sidecar Motocross World Championship & Quadcross European Championship Round in Madona

Motorsport fans can start preparing for one of Latvia’s most anticipated events. Tickets are now available for the 2026 Sidecar Motocross World Championship round and the Quadcross European Championship round, which will take place on 25–26 July 2026 at the “Smeceres sils” motocross track in Madona, Latvia.

The international season will open on 18–19 April in France, followed by multiple stages across Europe. Madona hosts the 9th round, while the final, 13th round will be held in France at the end of September, closing a decisive championship season.

Latvia aims higher after historic 2025 season

The 2026 event follows a milestone year for Latvian motosport: Daniels and Bruno Lielbārži won their first-ever home World Championship round; in Quadcross, Latvia celebrated a double podium finish (silver – Reinis Bicāns, bronze – Kārlis Neija). Preparations for the 2026 event have already begun, promising more ambition, more speed, and louder cheering from the stands.

“Winning at home is indescribable. 2025 will stay with us forever. We’re thrilled to race again in Madona next year — the track was highly praised by international riders and fans. Our goals for 2026 are sky-high,” say brothers Daniels and Bruno Lielbārži, who finished last season 4th overall in the World Championship standings.

“In Madona I felt the crowd like nowhere else — that’s when I knew we can fight Europe’s best. In 2026, there is only one goal: to win,” states Reinis Bicāns, silver medallist of the 2025 European Championship round.

Long-term ambition: Madona stays on the world motocross map

Agris Lungevičs, Chairman of Madona Municipality Council and Vice President of the Latvian Motor Sports Federation, highlights that “Smeceres sils” has proven its capacity to host major international events: “In 2025 we showed not only that we can host a world-class event, but that we can do it with excellent organisation — and with incredible Latvian results that electrified thousands of fans. From the very beginning, our approach has been long-term: to secure Madona’s place on the global motocross calendar. Events like this develop local infrastructure, tourism, and create a pathway for the next generation of athletes.”
